KTM Kings XI declared Ireland’s Kavin O’brien

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he first centurion for Ireland in Test cricket or the knock in the 2011 World Cup against England which is the world cup fastest century. Kevin O’Brien has been a record breaking player of Cricketing world. The record setting all-rounder will be playing for Kathmandu Kings XI which is the biggest franchise in TVS EPL.

Kavin O’ Brien, made his debut in the 2004 Under-19 World Cup and guided his nation to the semi-final stage of the tournament.

Kevin blossomed in the 2007 World Cup with consistent if not match-winning performances with both bat and ball.

O’Brien has been an integral member of the Irish Cricket team since 2006 and has represented Ireland in 3 x 50 over World Cups and in 5 x T20 World Cups. Kevin scored 198 runs and picked up four wickets in that showpiece event,since then O’Brien has played a lot of domestic one day and T20 cricket around the world for some of the biggest domestic teams (Surrey, Somerset, Nottinghamshire, Trinidad and Tobago, Northern Districts are just a few).

O’Brien recently passed 300 caps (308) making him not only the most capped Irish Cricketer of all time, but the most capped Irish Sportsman or woman.

In May 2018, O’Brien was part of the squad that represented Ireland in our inaugural Test Match against Pakistan in Malahide and scored the first Test Match century ever made for Ireland .

Kavin O’brien set another record for Ireland being the 1st Irish to score century for Ireland in there 1st test match.

Ireland will be playing a T20 matches against India this week and Kavin will be one of the key player for the team.
